a guy should a have right 2 deny his responsibility & force an abortion on a female – sike!!

but here’s something 4 kicks, my niggs.

why are they out 2 get us?

i pretty much live in my own world, but finally i decided 2 go through current events. & this is what i find.

a black man named Sean Bell has been fatally murdered the day of his wedding day, right after his bachelor party, in a 50 bullet barrage by three cops. they had the suspicion that he was some sort of threat & after the 50 bullets were shot they found nothing – nothing in his car that was illegal or served as a threat.

(Sean Bell, his fiance & child)

the three cops were all black & only did what they were taught 2 do which is oppress minorities.

then i go on 2 read about how the cops has been aquitted of all charges. by then, i’m pissed. thinking like “why isn’t this a surprise?” – this is bad that it’s not a surprise.

this is why i live in my bubble. because everytime i come back 2 reality i got 2 read shit like this. about how minorities are looked at like people, but just as inhumane objects that suckered into this consumer driven world. i mean, the guy was going 2 get married in a matter of hours, does anyone care? & it makes me want 2 run in the streets & scream for something 2 change, but @ the same time i feel hopeless, which is entirely all wrong.

i just got all kinds of questions running in my head & then i come 2 think:

is it wrong that i like 2 stay in my own world because i don’t like 2 face this harshness of reality?

Jeff Johnson

“BET Host, Producer, Political Motivator and Social Commentator”

– Jeff Johnson was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He was an active leader as a child and an engaged participant in track and field. Johnson went on to further his education on a track scholarship at the University of Toledo, located in Toledo, Ohio. It was here that he found his passion in activism. He gave up his athletic scholarship to devote more time to his activist positions. He was elected President of the Black Student Union twice, and played an integral role in the formation of black student awareness on campus. He led a march to the doorsteps of the home of the President of the University. The demands of the march included creating an Africana studies program, University Bus Service in the Black Community, including Black faculty and students on the All Executive Search Committees, and the creation of a Minority Retention Program. He was successful in the getting all of these demands instated on campus within a year.

– Recently, Johnson was named by Source Magazine as one of the hip hop generation’s key political players.

– In every aspect of his political leadership, Johnson has been highly instrumental in representing and articulating the views of young people and galvanizing voters to the polls.

one quote by Jeff Johnson that caught my eye.

“The time is now,” he asserts. “The youth of today are the leaders of TODAY. If we fail to sow the seeds of education and real leadership into our young people today, we will be forced to reap the weeds of our ignorance verses the flowers of our love tomorrow.”

it’s time 2 raise social awareness.

oh yeah, & nelly & murphy lee too. i really like consequence. i haven’t got his album, but i love his approach & all the features & couple of songs that i have are nice. except for “don’t forget em'”, my least favorite. but i’ve been a fan of his since College Dropout.

wrong info. “beef” @ fairfax.

alright, in my previous post i go on 2 talk about how some girl got stabbed.

according 2 my comments from that post i stand corrected. it wasn’t an asian girl & hispanic girl. it was two hispanic girls who were suppose 2 fight & blah & blah. one got cut in the palm of her hand.

thanks anonymous commenter! 🙂

which brings me back to my other questions, lol. what’s happened 2 our youth? what happened to good ol’ fisty cuffs? why doesn’t anyone just go in an alley with one other well known acquaintance and just fight out their problems, make it quick & clean & it’ll be over?! either that or just talk it out? why are kids so nuts nowadays that if you insult them, they’ll threaten ur life like it’s thing to do? what is it some ego thing? like the ego is more important than someones life?

when did it all get so complicated?

& i bet this whole altercation derived from something really petty.

idk, all the details, but a hispanic girl has been stabbed @ Fairfax High School, my former school, by an asian girl. of course the hispanic girl is in the hospital. it happened @ third period. therefore postponing their “glow in the dark” dance.

what happened 2 my former school? i mean it was whack when i was going there, but shizzah. now it’s hit rock bottom w/ this. what’s going on with our youth? what the fuck is going on here?

i’ll keep you updated w/ this event.
