my birthday’s two days away.
no i’m not excited.
it’s going 2 feel like another day, i bet.

when i woke up yesterday,
my throat was sore.
2day, my nose keeps running & i got a steady headache.
then it’s just like, fck, i’m sick three days before my birthday.
it’s humid outside, i hate heat.
then i get on myspace & ran into some painful reality.
i hate feeling vulnerable.

this mural’s in East L.A., Boyle Heights that is. that area is predominantly Latino. so the Latino community is pissed.
The mural has drawn complaints for depicting the ’hood as a depressing, crime-ridden dump. In the painting, plump, braided women parade around the streets, which are filled with stray dogs, piñatas, beer-drinking men, Mexican flags, men being arrested and illegal street vendors (including one women selling a Shaq jersey). - la times.
